This position reports to: Engineering Manager __ In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on design, implementation, upgrade, and retrofit activities to expand ABB’s 800xA DCS and AC800M-based process control systems, as well as auxiliary systems for plant automation applications. With a focus on cybersecurity, you will act as the design authority for the process automation portion of projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your skills by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. In cooperation with other teams, you will integrate the latest solutions developed within ABB in plant automation, electrical integration, and energy management systems. You will be mainly accountable for: Planning and engineering the integration of automation systems, primarily in the mining industry and minerals processing. Carrying out quality inspections and factory acceptance tests as well as commissioning our solutions at customer locations and supporting customers in resolving technical issues both remotely and at customer site worldwide and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing professional service at all stages of the project.
