Design Engineer Hydraulics & Gas Control Systems (all genders)
Your position
As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and refinement of technical designs, and you will ensure the accurate maintenance of master data within the ERP system. Leveraging your expertise and enthusiasm for hydraulics, pneumatics, and 3D-CAD software, you will play a key role in the ongoing advancement of our product groups. Your contributions will include the generation of innovative design concepts and support in the creation of customer-facing presentations. You will independently plan and design components, assemblies, and systems within the hydraulics and pneumatics domain, with a consistent focus on functionality, quality, and cost-efficiency. This position includes occasional travel, approximately 10% of the time.
* Designing components and assemblies, coupled with producing detailed technical drawings
* Elaborating product documentation, including operating and installation instructions
* Maintaining product data and providing technical support to the sales team
* Innovating and improving existing products continuously, as well as developing new solutions
* Assembling and testing of in-house construction prototypes in our laboratory and on-site at customer locations
Your profile
* Hands-on mindset, detail oriented and open for change
* Initial relevant working experience in an industrial environment
* Degree with a focus on design engineering, mechanical engineering, poly mechanics, automation, agricultural machinery technology or similar
* Enthusiasm for working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Extensive experience with 3D-CAD software (ideally Creo)
Nice to have: Further education at a higher technical college (HF or FH)
