* 26 février 2026 * 100% * Temporaire * CHF 69-000 - 70-500 /an * 4332 Stein AG For one of our international clients operating in the chemical innovation sector, we are currently recruiting a Laboratory Assistant for a 2 year-s temporary assignment at their site in Stein (AG). This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic scientific environment focused on seed biology, plant science, and laboratory-based research activities. Laboratory Assistant Your Responsibilities You will work within a laboratory team and support operational and experimental activities, including: * Learning and strictly following all laboratory safety and operational procedures * Coordinating tasks with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and transparent workload planning * Handling and accurately measuring chemicals, biological inoculum, seeds, soil, and related materials * Performing small-scale seed treatment and testing activities * Preparing, planting, and maintaining seed and seedling experiments (including watering and monitoring) * Preparing growing media and maintaining experimental setups * Taking high-quality photographs, including time-lapse sequences, of experiments * Maintaining a high standard of laboratory tidiness and cleanliness * Managing incoming samples/mail and laboratory waste processes * Accurately recording experimental data and results Your Profile * Apprenticeship (EFZ or equivalent European vocational qualification) in a scientific laboratory field * Practical laboratory experience with a strong focus on safe and accurate work practices * Experience handling chemicals and/or biological materials * Experience working with seeds, plants, or germination experiments (advantage) * Good IT skills (MS Office) and ability to quickly learn new digital tools * Fluent German and English (minimum B2 level in both spoken and written form - mandatory) * Reliable, team-oriented, organized, and results-driven personality What We Offer * Long-term temporary assignment (approx. 24 months) * International and innovation-driven environment * Structured laboratory setting with clear processes * Opportunity to gain valuable experience in plant and seed science If you are a hands-on laboratory professional looking for a stable and structured assignment in a scientific environment, we look forward to receiving your application.
