Risk Modeler – Withholding Tax vacancy for a Switzerland based client in the financial services sector.
Your tasks:
- Validating models developed for compliance with US withholding tax regulations
- Determining in-scope status of equity-linked instruments
- Analyzing financial instruments with US underlying securities
- Providing insights on withholding tax implications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for model implementation
Your experience/knowledge:
- Experience in financial modeling and analysis
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations, specifically section 871(m) of the Internal Revenue Code.
- Mathematical modelling and product expertise for Equity derivatives (i.e., Greeks) is required.
- Knowledge of equity-linked instruments and their taxation
- Relevant academic background in finance or related fields
- Language skills: English
