Job description
This role is ideal for a design professional with strong expertise in visual design, motion design, and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a key role in shaping the visual language of our campaigns and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
* Creative Development:
Collaborate with the advertising team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts, visual references, mood boards, and sketches for campaigns. Ensure alignment with Swatch's brand identity and marketing goals.
* Print Production Expertise:
Act as the team's go-to expert for print production. Prepare technical print files and oversee quality control for Out-of-Home (OOH) and other large-scale print campaigns, ensuring all materials meet industry standards.
* Visual Design Across Mediums:
Design layouts and visuals for print, digital, and social media platforms. Provide design support for various departments, including marketing materials, press releases, event graphics, and more.
* Motion Design:
Develop engaging motion graphics and animations for digital platforms, including social media, web, and in-store displays. Translate static designs into dynamic content that enhances storytelling and brand engagement.
* Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with teams such as Public Relations, Retail Marketing, Sports, and Communications to deliver cohesive design solutions across projects and channels.
* Brand Consistency:
Uphold and reinforce Swatch's visual identity across all design work, ensuring consistency and quality in every output.
* Digital File Preparation:
Review and prepare digital assets for both print and digital use, ensuring technical accuracy, optimized file sizes, and proper colour management.
Profile
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
* Deep understanding of print production processes and pre-press requirements
* Familiarity with digital formats and optimization for web and social media
Professional requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic and motion design, with a strong focus on advertising and visual communication across digital and print
* Proven portfolio showcasing a range of design work, especially in branding and large-format print
* Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on creative projects
