To develop our consulting offer and support one of our clients, we are looking for a talented Senior Business Analyst Trading IT.
Missions
* Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders, translating them into comprehensive functional specifications and ensuring traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
* Act as a key liaison between IT and business teams, facilitating communication, managing expectations, and keeping stakeholders fully informed of project progress, challenges, and proposed solutions.
* Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, proposing and implementing process enhancements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and overall functionality.
* Continuously optimize trading systems and platforms to ensure they are efficient, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.
* Validate system functionalities through user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring that solutions meet defined requirements and that data integrity and quality are maintained across all systems and reports.
* Ensure all IT projects and systems comply with relevant regulatory standards, internal policies, and the Trading IT Information Security Management System.
* Develop and deliver end-user training on new systems, features, and processes, while providing ongoing support and troubleshooting to maximize adoption, satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
* Collaborate closely with project and development teams as a subject matter expert (SME), proposing high-level functional solutions and contributing throughout design, build, and test phases to ensure successful project delivery and business value.
* Establish and nurture positive relationships with stakeholders, understanding and addressing their needs while ensuring systems and processes are user-friendly, effective, and support business goals.
Profile
* +8 years of relevant experience on Energy and Finance
* Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
* Experience on project or product management and software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, DevOps)
* Extensive knowledge and experience in the energy trading sector, understanding key trading principles, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
* Familiarity with various energy commodities (e.g., oil, gas, electricity) and their respective trading mechanisms.
* Knowledge on data analysis tools and languages.
* Experience with trading platforms, ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) systems, and other related IT applications.
* Ability to understand and translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
* Good communications and inter-personal skills, team and goal oriented, analytical, and problem-solving skills are highly valued.
