Core Responsibilities
Drive the development and implementation of product family strategies.
Analyse market and implement risk management strategies for key Product families
Lead sourcing strategy development within cross functional team for key product families
Drive sourcing strategy implementation by leading major RFQs and key negotiations
Negotiate contracts globally
Select, manage and audit suppliers
Identify opportunities for portfolio optimization and actively involve creation and manufacturing in development of optimization plans
Link with local and regional teams to identify alternative suppliers in other geographies / deploy global strategies and framework agreements / collect supplier performance feedback
Own key supplier relationship, and lead key supplier conflict resolutions
Communicate to suppliers any forthcoming changes in demand/specifications
Ensure adequate contract cover for materials and supplier compliance to contracts
Ensure vendor performance at target levels
Stakeholder Relationship
Communicate to key internal stakeholders any market conditions changes which may affect the business
Actively support the responsible sourcing projects implementation & provide information to Procurement Sustainability Manager when needed
Cost Optimization
Provide sufficient information for business planning process
Develop cost reduction projects
Provide price forecast and market trends for key commodities
Academic Background
University degree preferred or equivalent experience
Professional experience
7-10 years experience in Procurement and/or functional experience
Knowledge of F&F industry/FMCG Manufacturing/Chemical industry
International Exposure in previous role
Technical Skills
Fluent in English, other languages a +
Industry Acumen
Thorough understanding of sales/marketing practices/global logistics/Supply Chain Operations
Analytical Skills
Construct/execute multiple complex analyses (e.g. TCO, NPV)
Capacity to accurately predict/anticipate market trends
Ability to develop actionable recommendations and implementation plans in clear, compelling, effective way
System and data management skills; especially Excel and SAP Procurement modules & related systems
demonstrated track record of influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving results
