As Director of M&A, you will lead their strategic growth initiatives, driving acquisitions and partnerships across multiple markets. With a strategic mindset, strong negotiation skills, and a hands‑on approach, you will help expand and consolidate the organization’s presence.
Role & Responsibilities Develop and refine the M&A strategy: identify acquisition or partnership opportunities, conduct market research, and evaluate market-entry paths.
Carry out market studies and contribute to overall business development and growth.
Lead and manage all M&A activities: target scouting, due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, negotiation, and post‑merger integration.
Proactively search for potential targets or partners, initiate contacts, and manage deal flow end‑to‑end.
Oversee the legal aspects of transactions in coordination with internal and external legal counsel to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Build and maintain financial models to evaluate potential targets.
Prepare and present detailed progress and outcome reports on M&A projects to senior leadership and the board.
Leverage your network in investment and healthcare sectors to uncover new opportunities.
Expect frequent travel across European markets to meet with potential targets, partners, and stakeholders.
Work with a cross‑country M&A team and senior leadership.
Engage with internal executives, external advisors, and domain experts to evaluate acquisition or partnership targets.
Your Profile Extensive experience in M&A or transaction services (e.g. investment banking, private equity, consultancy, or as a corporate / M&A-focused attorney), ideally with exposure to healthcare or related sectors.
Entrepreneurial mindset, high drive, and hands‑on approach; ability to deliver strategic as well as operational excellence.
Solid understanding of legal and regulatory requirements for M&A transactions.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with proven expertise in financial analysis, company valuation, and executive‑level presentation (including financial modeling and reporting).
Excellent negotiation and communication skills; ability to perform under pressure and handle complex stakeholder environments.
Fluent in English; any other European language is a plus.
Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently across European regions.
