Currently, the company is seeking a dynamic Laboratory Technician to join a passionate, detail-oriented, and international team working on developing and maintaining our projects.
The position is within the Laboratory Section of the Basic Research Department and reports to the Section Manager.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
1. Assist Laboratory Manager and/or Researchers of the R&D team with planning experiments, recommending supplies and equipment.
2. Execute complex mechanical and chemical laboratory experiments, including high pressure and high temperature conditions.
3. Collaborate with the Laboratory Manager and Researchers to design and optimize testing protocols.
4. Interact with the team to execute laboratory activities.
5. Report results to Project Leaders.
6. Perform and develop chemical analyses and new analytical methods.
7. Maintain laboratory documentation and stay updated with trends in laboratory technologies.
8. Build, test, install, and maintain laboratory equipment and testing units.
9. Prepare reports and operational documentation.
10. Identify and report issues with laboratory setup and instrumentation promptly.
11. Solve electrical and mechanical issues in the laboratory.
12. Ensure optimal performance and continuous operation of chemical instrumentation.
13. Analyze and validate laboratory test data.
14. Continuously improve laboratory technologies, instruments, and methodologies.
15. Propose innovative solutions based on experimental insights.

Qualifications:
* Technical diploma (e.g., Chemistry, Materials, Biotechnologies) or equivalent; B.Sc./M.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry or related fields is a plus.
* Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment or pilot-scale chemical plants.
* Experience in laboratory research, especially in heterogeneous catalysis or high-pressure multiphase reactions.
* Knowledge of process instrumentation and analytical methods (e.g., GC, HPLC).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to read P&IDs and electrical diagrams.
* Safety management knowledge in high-risk environments (ATEX, toxic/flammable gases).
* Precise, autonomous, and innovative in problem-solving.
Language and Software Skills:
* English language skills are advantageous.
* Knowledge of Labview, Python, and 3D CAD is a plus.
Soft Skills:
