INTRODUCTION:
For an international company operating in the consumer goods sector, we are seeking a Senior Finance Manager - Product Supply H/F for a permanent, full-time position.
MISSION DESCRIPTION:
Main Responsibilities:
* Supply Chain Financial Planning & Actuals Controlling
* Analyze monthly COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) and Inventory actuals in collaboration with relevant parties (plants, PS/Global Business Services Accounting). Proactively identify gaps, analyze drivers behind the gaps, and propose sustainable, structural, and timely solutions.
* Own the quarterly COGS forecast, including volume reconciliation, COGS by SKU database updates, inventory forecasts, and understanding business drivers such as plant variances, scrap, savings, and transport costs.
* Align with company management (CFO and Chief Supply Officer) and support the 5-Year Plan process with PS inputs.
* Continuously improve forecasting and actuals processes for timeliness, efficiency, and accuracy.
Supply Chain Financial Analysis:
* Serve as the Finance “Business Partner” for PS.
* Identify, value, and prioritize cost-saving projects across all cost components, utilizing analytical tools like benchmarking, trend analysis, and variance analysis.
* Conduct annual assessments of the company’s COGS structure at macro and BOM levels.
* Lead annual price setting with ADSH and support cost negotiations with suppliers.
* Assist PS leadership with financial analysis for strategic projects such as Supply Network Redesign and Business Continuity.
* Manage product costing for new initiatives and support SAP cost/transfer price maintenance.
Stewardship:
* Perform COGS actuals proofing and implement corrective actions.
* Oversee COGS master data controls in collaboration with accounting and financial control teams.
* Support internal control assessments and audit processes, focusing on COGS.
* Handle Subpart F reporting and ensure compliance with JV processes.
* Perform additional roles/functions as required outside immediate responsibilities.
PROFILE REQUIRED:
Qualifications & Experience:
* Relevant university degree or equivalent.
* Extensive finance experience focused on Financial Planning, Controlling, and Product Supply Finance.
* Experience with international trade and manufacturing operations, including in-house and contract manufacturing.
* Knowledge of financial systems such as SAP, PowerBI, KNIME; proficient in MS Excel.
* Strong accounting, internal controls, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and handle complexity in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous.
