Perfusion Process Optimization Internship
The internship in bioreactor perfusion process optimization is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of new biological therapeutics. As a member of the Global Drug Substance Development team, you will work with a group of motivated scientists who are committed to finding innovative solutions. Your mission will focus on improving the perfusion platform process in bioreactors ranging from 2 mL to 200 L equipped with cell retention devices.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Optimize parameters for the cell retention device
- Provide recommendations for operations
- Program and work with automated sampling systems
- Work independently in the lab, including tasks such as cell thawing, cell expansion, and working under laminar flow hoods
- Participate in experimental design
- Analyze and present data in project discussions
- Write a report to conclude your internship
Your Profile:
- Master or engineer student in biotechnology or a related field
- Highly motivated and autonomous individual
- Ability to conceptualize, solve complex challenges, and communicate about projects
- Great team spirit
- Previous experience in cell culture or aseptic handling is a plus
- Good written and oral knowledge of French and English
