Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with Azure skills to join EPAM Systems and support our client from the financial services sector in their office in Geneva.
This dynamic role involves analysing, designing, advising and translating solutions in a quest to curtail existing Azure Cloud costs. The substantial challenge lies in planning the cost-effective migration of multiple applications and fresh implementations from on-prem, ensuring effective cost control on Azure.

Responsibilities
* Deploy and integrate a complex core banking system on Azure
* Collaborate with technical experts, architects and business teams to align technical solutions with functional requirements and strategic initiatives
* Implement continuous integration (code quality, security policies, build strategy)
* Implement continuous delivery (release strategy, release management workflow, deployment patterns)
* Work closely with the Scrum team to understand project requirements and objectives
Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience in a large organization or financial institution, with a strong focus on DevOps
* Broad infrastructure knowledge and experience in Unix/Linux, Shell scripting, databases, networking, virtual machines, storage and middleware deployments; experience in a large-scale global organization on a cloud environment
* Azure DevOps or similar cloud vendor certification
* Deep knowledge and experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), network setup, containerization, cluster setup and high availability configurations
* Experience deploying applications on Azure via GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Tiller; infrastructure as code in a CI/CD DevOps environment
* Knowledge of Azure services such as Event Hub, Service Bus, Log Analytics, Application Gateway and storage services
* Messaging, streaming, logging and middleware knowledge
* Proficient communication skills in English and in French
