Overview
Position: IT Support Specialist (Backfill, On‑site) at BCIC Swiss GmbH, located in Lugano, Switzerland. Hours: 8 hours per day.
Responsibilities
* Provide first‑ or second‑level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
* Work with third‑party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
* Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
* Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
* Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and Cisco Jabber authorized.
* Support Apple PC users with basic knowledge of the Mac operating system.
* Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
* Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
* Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
Requirements
1. Valid work permit in Switzerland.
2. Several years of experience in the IT field.
3. Fluency in Italian and English.
4. Basic knowledge of the Mac operating system.
