What you will do
Regional Pipeline Portfolio and Project Management Lead (EMEA)
The Regional Pipeline Portfolio and Project Management Lead is accountable for leading regional innovation portfolio performance, governance, and delivery excellence. This role ensures disciplined end-to-end portfolio and project management across complex, multi-site and multi-region programs, aligned to regional and enterprise strategy.
The role provides people leadership to a regional team of Project and Portfolio Managers and partners closely with senior stakeholders across R&D, Marketing, Operations and Finance to optimize investment decisions, manage risk, and maximize innovation return on investment.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio & Pipeline Leadership:
* Lead end-to-end portfolio and project management across the regional innovation, renovation and remediation pipeline.
* Shape and balance the regional portfolio aligned to strategy, capacity, risk, and financial objectives.
* Run quarterly regional portfolio reviews aligned to the business planning cycle.
* Assess pipeline sufficiency and identify portfolio gaps, risks, and opportunities.
* Optimize innovation ROI in partnership with Finance, R&D, Operations, and Brand leaders.
Governance, Delivery & Execution Excellence:
* Drive adherence to standards for portfolio and project management best practices.
* Track and report portfolio performance, proactively escalating risks.
* Manage interdependencies and portfolio-level variances.
* Drive continuous improvement through after-action reviews.
People Leadership & Capability Building:
* Lead and develop a regional team of Project and Portfolio Managers.
* Set clear expectations, roles, and accountability.
* Coach and mentor leaders in a matrixed environment.
* Own resource planning and budget management.
* Drive Portfolio and Project Management capability building in partnership with the PPM CoE.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
* Minimum 12 years of business experience.
* 8+ years of Project, Program, or Portfolio Management experience in CPG or FMCG.
* 5+ years people leadership experience managing teams of 7 or more.
* Experience delivering complex, multi-region portfolios with $M+ budgets.
* Experience across at least three geographic regions.
Education:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or Healthcare.
* PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
