About the role
smartNsales is building the leading B2B platform connecting FMCG brands with markets. We're a fast-moving team and we need someone to own the operational backbone of the company. This is a broad, hands‑on role spanning marketplace operations, finance, HR, IT, and general admin across multiple entities.
What you’ll own
Marketplace Operations
* Process retailer payouts (Stripe settlements)
* Support onboarding of new marketplace locations
* First‑line support for field issues
* Monitor platform activity and flag anomalies
Finance & Accounting
* Manage creditors and debtors
* Responsible for bank payments
* Process intercompany invoices across entities
* Support month‑end close and fiduciary handover
* Contact person at our external accounting firm
HR & People Admin
* Full onboarding and offboarding logistics
* In consultation with government agencies and partner companies, such as insurance companies
IT & Tools
* Manage software licences (renewals, seats, cost allocation)
* Onboard/offboard users across tools
* Coordinate access management with CTO
General Operations
* Day‑to‑day admin support to co‑founders
Your profile
* Based in Central Switzerland, ideally in or near Lucerne
* German and English fluent, French a plus
* 3+ years of experience in operations, office management, or a similar generalist role
* Proactive and energetic — you improve processes, not just run them
* Comfortable with Swiss HR, accounting, and admin frameworks
* Hands‑on with tools like Notion, Slack, ClickUp, Stripe and AI in general
* Excited by a multi‑entity startup environment with high ownership
