Overview
As an Ocean Export Operations Specialist, you will ensure the smooth and timely export of shipments for our customers. This role combines operational responsibilities, customer interaction, and compliance in a fast-paced international environment.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and process export shipments promptly
* Document and optimize operational procedures
* Support and advise customers
* Manage customs clearance and documentation
* Communicate with customers, agents, and service providers
* Prepare quotations and conduct sales negotiations
* Process customer invoices and monitor deadlines
* Prepare documents such as Letters of Credit, Bills of Lading, and customs papers
* Handle Dangerous Goods shipments in full compliance with regulations
Qualifications
* Completed commercial apprenticeship in international forwarding
* Education in business administration
* Experience in international freight forwarding
* Fluent in German and English; additional European languages are a plus
* Quick learner with a precise and reliable work style
* Independent, efficient, and accurate
* Enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach
