Position Summary
At Jet Aviation, we are not just offering a role – we are offering an opportunity to elevate your career within a world-renowned leader in the aviation industry. For our team in Basel, we are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team on a fixed term contract for 18 months, working in shared service accounting departments that supports the financial success of multiple Jet Aviation entities.
Your role
* Financial Stewardship: Prepare, maintain, and reconcile key financial documents, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, capital expenditure reports, and VAT declarations
* End-to-End Closings: Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings under both US GAAP and Swiss GAAP (OR) ensuring precision and compliance
* Insightful Analysis: Offer financial insights that shape our future by supporting budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing performance variations
* Strategic Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders, providing top-tier financial support and driving business decision with financial acumen
* Audit Excellence: Ensure audit readiness, supporting both internal and external audits with accuracy and professionalism

Your profile:
* Commercial accounting education
* Several years of experience in a similar role within an international company
* Results-driven attitude – you execute with precision, accountability, and a customer centric mindset
* Fluent in English (oral and written), knowledge of German is a plus
* Expertise in Swiss GAAP and US GAAP
* Proficient in MS office and SAP (R/3, S4)
