Drive Business Growth
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Segment Manager to drive business growth in key industrial and consumer vertical markets in the Americas. As a thought leader, you will be responsible for owning and developing relationships with key stakeholders, and working closely with the sales and marketing team to develop the sales funnel.
In this role, you will work closely with product and strategy managers to ensure that our roadmap is aligned with segment needs. You will leverage your industry knowledge to define and promote innovative solutions to solve customer challenges and gain market share in key segments.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Market Trends and Customer Identification: Identify key market trends and potential customers within focus segments.
* Sales and Marketing Strategies: Define and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
* Opportunity Identification and Design Wins: Identify and qualify opportunities within key segments and drive design wins.
* Solution Development: Develop solutions for market needs including hardware, software, services, platforms, and partnerships.
* Value Proposition: Position and articulate the value of the solutions into the market segment. Provide input to global segment management.
* Customer and Stakeholder Relationships: Establish and maintain productive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
* Corporate Strategy Initiatives: Contribute to corporate strategy initiatives in the market segment.
* Competitive Analysis: Perform competitive analysis of solutions and develop clearly differentiated solutions.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
* Business Development Experience: At least 5 years of business development or sales experience in semiconductor solutions including cellular modems, GPS/GNSS, and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth technologies, or connectivity services.
* Systems Architecture Knowledge: End-to-End Internet of Things systems architecture knowledge.
* Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Planning and Execution: Ability to plan and execute in the short term and long term.
* Travel Requirements: Frequent domestic and international travel (up to 75%).
* Revenue Growth and Design Wins: Track record in revenue growth and design wins.
* Collaboration: Works collaboratively with a team to achieve results in a team environment.

* Electrical or Computer Engineering Degree: Electrical or Computer Engineering Degree, MBA.
