At BLACKROLL, you develop products that help people move better, recover faster, and sleep more soundly — from the first idea to a successful market launch. Together with our Head of Product, you ensure that innovations are brought to market quickly, efficiently, and with a strong user focus.
As a Product Manager (m/f/d), you take ownership of clearly defined product areas and develop them both strategically and operationally.
Your focus will be on a diverse product portfolio — ranging from marketplace and 3P/OEM products to trend-driven fitness and recovery tools, as well as innovative sleep tech and smart sleep solutions. At the same time, you drive the continuous development and iteration of existing products, ensuring that new products and optimizations are implemented efficiently, market-ready, and consistently user-centric.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* End-to-end ownership and continuous development of defined product categories
* Development, evaluation, and prioritization of new product ideas based on market, trend, and user insights
* Creation of product briefings, specifications, and launch requirements, as well as support during prototyping and production preparation
* Identification and integration of marketplace and 3P/OEM products into the BLACKROLL portfolio
* Contribution to the expansion of innovative sleep tech and smart product solutions in close collaboration with Engineering, Design, and Digital teams
* Ongoing analysis and optimization of existing products (performance, materials, features, design, costs)
* Close, cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, E-Commerce, Sales, and the Medical team
* Support of product launches through clear product storytelling and the involvement of external experts (e.g. physiotherapists, sleep and sports experts)
Your profile
* 3–6 years of experience in product management, ideally in consumer products, sporting goods, health tech, fitness/recovery, or wearables
* Experience in developing or sourcing physical products; a solid understanding of digital products or apps is a plus
* Ideally experienced with trend-driven products, fast development cycles, or marketplace setups
* Strong intuition for market and trend analysis
* Structured, self-driven working style with solid project management skills
* Basic understanding of materials, engineering, and production processes
* Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders
* Strong aesthetic and functional understanding of design and usability
* Curious, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset
* Enjoyment of fast iterations — test, learn, improve
* Passion for movement, sleep, health, and performance, with a strong identification with our mission
