Our client is a foundation-owned investment group with more than 30 billion CHF in assets under management. Their investment strategies include private and long-term equity, real estate, infrastructure and liquid assets. Due to continued growth, we are exclusively mandated to search for an experienced and highly motivated (Senior) Manager to join their dynamic finance team at the headquarters in Pfäffikon SZ.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Lead the tertial and annual consolidation process and reporting (dual GAAP: Swiss GAAP FER and Management accounts at market value)
Lead the preparation of the consolidated financial statements in compliance with Swiss GAAP FER
Work closely with investment teams to onboard new portfolio companies: accounting standards gap analysis, define reporting requirements, coordinate with auditors etc.
Work closely with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely data collection and reporting to internal stakeholders
Take ownership of the accounting manual
Support the implementation and maintenance of financial consolidation systems (CCH Tagetik)
Support compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards
Assist in coordinating with external auditors for the annual audit process
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Contribute on financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Communicate financial information clearly and effectively across departments
Help implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
Requirements:
University degree in Finance (Bachelor or Master degree), CPA is of advantage
Profound knowledge in accounting and reporting
Minimum of 5 years of practical knowledge of group accounting and consolidation
Experience in handling financial reporting in a Multi-GAAP environment
Any experience with international tax matters and related reporting obligations (Cb Cr, DAC6 etc.) is a plus (from basic to advanced)
Experience with ERP and consolidation systems (Microsoft Dynamics and CCH Tagetik is of advantage)
Strong analytical capabilities and organizational sensitivity
High level of accuracy in execution
Good practical knowledge in use of Microsoft Office – especially Excel
Fluent in spoken and written English – German or any other language is a plus
Proactive, independent and flexible from concept and design to the implementation of projects
Ability to prioritize and successfully manage tasks and projects
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Able to work independently and take initiatives and ownership of her/his tasks
