Your tasks
* Account management and project acquisition with a focus on OEM volume applications
* Processing customer enquiries, preparing and tracking quotations, and documentation in CRM
* Participation in trade fairs and conferences
* Analysis of the market environment and potential regarding new applications and technological trends
* Approximately 30% international travel
Your profile
* Several years of experience in direct technical sales and account management
* Existing network in the telecommunications/data industry, and contacts with innovative manufacturers of optical systems, a plus
* Entrepreneurial, goal-oriented and self-motivated salesperson who likes to get things done
* Technical engineering background at B.Sc. or M.Sc. level, or relevant experience
* Business fluent in English and German, other languages are an advantage
