Job Opportunity: Legal Officer
We have an exciting opportunity within our Legal Department. Join a young, dynamic team in a stimulating environment that combines a friendly, casual atmosphere with cutting-edge technologies and diverse tasks.
Responsibilities
1. Advise internal stakeholders on legal aspects of the Bank’s projects, including innovative banking services and new technologies, providing insights and risk assessments.
2. Review, negotiate, and draft contracts related to securities trading, crypto-assets, foreign exchange pairs (FX), and contracts for difference (CFD).
3. Manage litigation matters and handle complaints.
4. Conduct legal research on banking and financial law and monitor regulatory changes.
5. Develop, implement, and review internal policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* Master's degree in Swiss Law; Swiss bar exam is a plus.
* At least 2-3 years of relevant experience, such as working as a jurist/lawyer in the banking industry, a Big 4 firm, or a law firm focusing on commercial law.
* Fluent in French and English; German skills are an asset.
* Interest in innovation and banking & finance law.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining autonomy.
