Responsibilities
* Plan, install, and monitor cable routes and cable shafts in underground construction.
* Execute cable runs for all rail‑technical cables.
* Perform repairs on shaft covers and remedial work on cable shafts; resolve faults in cable infrastructure and restore proper operation.
* Create work schedules, report completed work, and record working hours and expenses.
* Operate instructed machines, devices, and work tools, give instructions, and serve as safety officer to ensure safe execution of tasks.
* Prepare work sites, provide materials for assigned tasks or construction sites, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
* Lead employees and third parties at various work sites.
* Perform night shifts, weekend shifts (non‑regular), incident response, and winter service, with additional pay for time and money.
Qualifications
* High responsibility and safety awareness; able to adapt to all seasons.
* High physical and psychological endurance.
* EFZ in landscape gardening, masonry, or road construction.
* Completed internal safety officer training (or safety guard if needed).
* Proficient in German (minimum A2).
* Valid category B driver’s license; manual transmission and category BE an advantage.
* Reside near the work site.
