Role Description
* The Learning and Development (L&D) Coordination Manager is responsible for managing L&D projects, organizing training programs, and ensuring seamless execution of both in-person and digital learning experiences.
* Key responsibilities include coordinating logistics, vendor management, supporting LMS administration, contributing to program design, and driving effective communication around L&D activities.
* The role reports to the L&D Director. It requires strong organizational skills, collaboration with internal stakeholders, and a passion for implementing a culture of continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Management
* Plan, coordinate, and oversee L&D projects and activities and manage external vendors.
* Structure and streamline L&D processes and folders for efficiency and impact.
* Training Planning
* Develop and manage the annual training plan in alignment with the L&D and operational teams.
* Adjust plans as required to meet upcoming operational needs.
* Training Logistics
* Organize logistics for in-person and digital training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and preparation of training materials and ensure smooth execution of all training events.
* Learning Management System (LMS) Administration & Reporting
* Support the Digital L&D Manager in administering and managing the company's LMS platforms (SuccessFactors and MXP).
* Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
* Track training completion and generate reports through the LMS.
* Program Design Support:
* Participate in designing learning programs for onboard and office employees in the area of guest excellence, leadership, behavioral and professional skills, company culture, onboarding, and well-being.
* Assist the Digital L&D Manager in creating and maintaining engaging e-learning content.
* Work closely with all L&D team members to ensure consistency and alignment in training programs regarding message, content, pedagogy and delivery.
* Communication
* Implement internal communications on the L&D initiatives and collaborate with the HR Marketing team to promote the Viking College in external communications.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all L&D-related inquiries within the organization.
* Budget Management
* Assist the L&D Director in defining, tracking, and managing the annual L&D budget.
* Execute vendor registration and onboarding within the internal financial systems.
Key Qualifications
* You have minimum 5 years of working experience in HR, operations, learning & development or training, ideally in hospitality in an international corporate environment.
* You have a proven record in successfully running coordination & logistics in a fast moving environment.
* You use your positive communication and strong interpersonal skills to connect with peers and senior management.
* You have had proven experience with project management.
* Your spoken and written English is fluent, and you are proficient in using Microsoft Office tools (including Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
* Knowledge of digital learning tools such as LMS management and e-learning is a must.
EDUCATION
* You have minimum a Bachelor's degree in Business administration, Training or Human Resources or something equivalent.
