Job description

* Strategic Partner: You are the go-to HR sparring partner and trusted advisor for our leaders, guiding them through all HR-related themes.
* People & Processes: You ensure smooth and efficient HR processes along the entire employee life cycle – from workforce planning and recruiting to onboarding, performance management, talent development, case management, and compensation in close collaboration with our HR operation experts.
* Recruitment Strategy: You take ownership of end-to-end recruiting, ensuring we attract, select, and hire top talent whilst delivering an excellent candidate experience.
* Culture & Engagement: You give our culture a voice by running initiatives such as our culture survey, translating insights into concrete actions that foster an inspiring and inclusive workplace.
* Business Impact: You make sure our people strategy drives business success by bringing HR expertise to organizational design, change management, coaching, facilitation, and communication.
* Innovation & Development: You support the continuous evolution of HR as a function from process improvements and HR analytics to impactful HR projects that shape the future of work.


Your Story


Job requirements

* Education: You hold a degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Experience: You bring at least 5 years of HR business partner experience with a focus on supporting employees based in Switzerland, ideally in industrial, tech, or capital goods sectors.
* Labor Law Knowledge: You know Swiss labor law and employment practices inside out and can confidently guide leaders through them.
* Talent Acquisition: You already have hands-on recruiting experience or are excited to expand your HR toolkit and discover the thrill of finding and hiring great talent.
* Consulting & Collaboration: You work comfortably across all management levels, combining strong consulting skills with the ability to influence and drive decisions without formal authority.
* Ownership & Improvement: You operate with autonomy, responsibility, and discretion while always looking for ways to improve processes and raise the bar for operational excellence.
* Languages & Personality: You communicate fluently in English and German, and as a warm, approachable person with a sharp mind, you build trust and strong relationships with ease.

Salary: At Climeworks, salary ranges are assigned to a job based on the level of seniority and the location-specific market median of similar jobs according to external benchmark surveys. Individual compensation depends on your skills, experience, and the value you bring to the team.


Formalities

* This position is based in Opfikon, Zurich, and we ask that you work onsite at least three days per week.
* The percentage in the job title means flexibility – choose full-time or part-time based on what works for you.
