We are looking for a Junior CAD Designer (f/m/d) to design the control units, actuators and sensors of our exhaust aftertreatment systems. The role involves working extensively with Autodesk Inventor for the creation of both 3D models and 2D production drawings; managing the designed products in our PLM platform; participating within a multidisciplinary team in the development of new portfolio standards and of customer specific solutions; ensuring that the design complies with our quality standards, applicable international standards, safety regulations, and customer-specific requirements.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and revise 3D models and 2D drawings for portfolio products
Create and revise 3D models and 2D drawings for customer specific solutions
Discuss design optimization concepts with both internal (engineering department) and external (suppliers) stakeholders
Management of existing models and drawing in PLM platform
Produce documentation about the products and their design development processes
Communicate directly within interdisciplinary teams (engineering, project management, sales) for the refinement of project requirements
YOUR PROFILE
Successfully completed apprenticeship as Konstrukteur EFZ or equivalent
Knowledge of sheet metal cutting, steel machining, and welding fabrication processes
Knowledge of relevant standards, best practices and guidelines for CAD and product design
Advanced knowledge of CAD tools, preferably Autodesk Inventor
Basic knowledge of PLM tools
Detail-oriented mindset, commitment to delivering according to strict quality standards
Structured approach to complex tasks and precision in documenting the process and the outcome of performed tasks
Fluent communication skills (written, verbal) both in German and English and willingness to work interchangeably in both languages
Ability to cooperate in a multidisciplinary team
