Our client a leading consulting firm in the field of digital transformation within public administration, is looking for an expert to support them in the digitalisation of tax administrations across Switzerland.
As a Senior Consultant Tax Digitalisation, you will provide your expertise in the domain of tax process optimisation, digital transformation, and business development.
Setting:
As part of a motivated and interdisciplinary team, you will focus on developing sustainable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions for tax administrations. You will also play a key role in expanding Clients customer portfolio within the tax domain by identifying new opportunities during ongoing projects.
Focus:
* Advising Swiss tax administrations on the conception and implementation of digitalisation projects – from analysis, process and organisational design to implementation.
* Developing and optimising tax-related processes in collaboration with the relevant departments.
* Co-designing modern IT solutions with a focus on efficiency, usability, and long-term impact.
* Driving business development activities by identifying new project opportunities and expanding client relationships.
* Bringing in technological trends and innovative approaches to strengthen client consulting capabilities.
Background:
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience working within a Swiss tax office or tax administration (not as a tax advisor) and a strong understanding of tax processes and digitalisation initiatives in the public sector.
Experience in business development and client relationship management is highly valued, as the role combines consulting and commercial responsibility.
Excellent command of German (C1–C2) is required due to collaboration with Swiss-German speaking clients. English is needed for internal communication; French is a plus.
Duration: This is a full-time role
