YOUR PROFILE
Are you passionate about providing high-quality nursing care and promoting health among students? At Collège Beau Soleil, we are committed to providing excellent health services to our students. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our students by providing clinically effective nursing care and implementing proactive health promotion initiatives.
Working as part of a team, communication is paramount in your role. This is particularly important when working with parents, carers, and other school services to monitor the health of pupils. You pay particular attention to procedures and details.
We offer an 80% contract and are actively seeking a nurse who can work flexible hours from Monday to Sunday, between 8am and 10pm, depending on the season and the needs of our activities. With around 50 days’ holiday a year, you’ll be able to maintain a work-life balance.

Your Key Responsibilities
Provide first aid and medical care to students in accordance with school policies and procedures
Collaborate with parents, teachers and other school departments to develop and implement individualised care plans for students with chronic/acute conditions or special medical needs.
Play an active role in health promotion through the planning, delivery and support of the school Welfare program.
Promote and sustain efficient and assertive communication among all parties involved in caregiving to ensure that students receive appropriate care promptly.
Ensure that the medical room, medical facilities, defibrillator, and first aid kits throughout the school are maintained to meet the school’s requirements
Ensure that all dispensed treatment given and all supplies used are recorded
Maintain and improve professional knowledge and competence, keeping up to date with professional, clinical, and nursing issues relevant to work in schools
Education And Professional Qualifications
HES Diploma in Nursing or equivalent and recognized by the Swiss Government
Fluent in French & English (speaking, reading and writing)
Proficiency in informatics tools and technologies (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
At least 3 years of experience as a Nurse
Experience in a school environment is a plus but not essential
