Ittigen, Switzerland (and remote work) | What you can contribute- Direct and develop the Circular Economy and Immissions division, structured into divisions: Economy and Waste and Raw Materials, Air Pollution Control and Chemicals, Noise and Non-Ionizing Radiation (NIR), comprising a total of approximately 150 employees.- As a member of the management board, ensure co-responsibility for managing the office and represent it in bodies and matters for which you are responsible within the management and the department, before Parliament, and with stakeholders, cantons, economic circles, and NGOs, as well as internationally.- Lead and advance important dossiers, particularly those related to the circular economy and chemical substances (PFAS), and ensure the implementation of objectives and requirements defined at the higher level.- Establish and maintain useful contacts and networks, defend the office's position in discussions related to economic and financial policy as well as research and innovation policy.What makes you unique- Higher education degree in economic and social sciences, natural sciences, or law, as well as several years of proven professional and leadership experience.- Leadership personality with assertiveness, negotiation skills, and a taste for interdisciplinary issues.- Proven analytical skills and very good knowledge of project management as well as process and change management.- High resistance to stress, ease in decision-making and implementation, negotiation skills, and active knowledge of two official languages, passive knowledge of a third, very good knowledge of English.In a few wordsYou ensure the conduct of business and policies of the entire office in collaboration with the management.
