Your mission, should you choose to accept it We are currently looking for an experienced Data Engineer (Python) to join one of our clients in the finance sector. The project involves designing and implementing a modern, large-scale data platform based on Databricks and Snowflake, with the goal of centralizing, transforming, and distributing high-quality data across the organization. You will play a key role in building the platform’s data pipelines — ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. You’ll collaborate closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful data solutions that meet analytical and operational needs. Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and modern data engineering frameworks. Build and optimize data models and transformation workflows in Databricks and Snowflake environments. Work with data architects to implement best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and storage. Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across multiple sources. Support the integration of various data sources (APIs, databases, files, cloud platforms). Contribute to the development of a robust and scalable data platform architecture. Collaborate cross-functionally with business and technical teams to translate data needs into technical solutions. > 8 years of experience as a Data Engineer. Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and automation. Proven experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake (both are used in this project). Solid understanding of data modeling and ETL/ELT pipelines. Expertise in SQL, performance optimization, and handling large datasets. Familiarity with cloud architectures (preferably Azure or AWS). Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices and version control (Git). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Fluent English (French is a plus).
