Job Description:
IT User Service Support (m/f/d) – Gsuite / technical support / desktop support / English / German
Project: For our customer, a large pharmaceutical company in Basel, we are seeking a highly qualified IT User Service Support (m/f/d).
Background: We are looking for technically skilled candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for the Technical Support role. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, providing customer feedback, and creating documentation. Excellent communication skills are essential as the role involves direct customer interaction and written documentation.
The ideal candidate: Has either two years of experience in technical support/desktop support or a completed apprenticeship in information technology with at least one year of relevant experience. Experience with ServiceNow and G Suite applications is required.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Identifying hardware and software issues
* Troubleshooting technical problems
* Installing and configuring hardware and software
* Communicating with customers to accurately capture problems
* Documenting procedures clearly
* Guiding customers through problem resolution steps
* Providing documentation and training materials
* Proactive support and onsite assistance
* Improving delivery processes and automating tasks to enhance efficiency while maintaining high customer satisfaction
* Supporting the IT Welcome Zone (Front Desk Support)
Must Haves:
* Finished apprenticeship in IT or similar, or 2+ years of technical support experience
* Proficiency with Windows/Mac OS and G Suite
* Experience with remote desktop tools and help desk software (e.g., Bomgar, ServiceNow)
* Hardware support experience
* Fluency in English and German (written and verbal)
* Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, proactive attitude, and team orientation
* Ability to prioritize tasks, analytical thinking, reliability, and proactive communication
Nice to Have:
* Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe
