Tasks & Challenges
Prepare and cook meals for hotel staff according to the planned menu
Plan and organize daily food production including portion control and timely service during designated meal periods
Supporting the Canteen Supervisor and Chef de Parties (main kitchen)
Working according to HACCP
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs
From time to time preparing food for the main kitchen
Qualifications & Competences
Completed vocational training as a chef in the gastronomy / hotel industry
First experience in a comparable position in the hotel / catering industry
Attention to detail, creativity and reliability
Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and enthusiasm
Good knowledge of English, any other foreign language would be an advantage
Service oriented
Ability to work in a structured and organized manner
Positive attitude
Team player
