Segment Manager
In this role, you will be a key leader in developing and executing strategies to drive growth in key industrial and consumer markets in the Americas.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Identify market trends and opportunities within focus segments.
* Develop sales and marketing strategies aligned with segment needs.
* Capture design wins in target segments by identifying and qualifying opportunities.
* Create solutions for market needs across hardware, software, services, platforms, and partnerships.
* Communicate value proposition to customers and provide input to global segment management.
* Nurture relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
* Contribute to corporate strategy initiatives in the market segment.
* Analyze competitive offerings and differentiate u-blox solutions.
* Understand customer service architecture and recommend relevant u-blox products.
* Familiarize yourself with service provider ecosystems and position u-blox services accordingly.
Your Essential Skills:
* 5+ years of experience in business development or sales for semiconductor solutions, including cellular modems, GPS/GNSS, and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth technologies, or connectivity services.
* Detailed knowledge of end-to-end Internet of Things systems architecture.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Able to plan and execute short-term and long-term goals.
* Promote frequent travel (up to 75%) domestically and internationally.
* Track record of revenue growth and design wins.
* Motivated team player achieving results in collaboration with colleagues.
Bonus Points:
* Electrical or Computer Engineering Degree, MBA.
