Our state of theart R&D center, which is unique in Switzerland, is pushing the development of the next generation ofsustainable marine engines. As a critical part of the operations team, you will be faced with highly technicaltroubleshooting issues, that allow for a significant learning curve in your engineering knowledge. Are youready to help us lead innovation and fulfil the requirements of this challenging role:Provide remote support of engines in operation using our remote monitoring data acquisition platform (WinGD WiDE)Perform troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis for engine electronic related issues.Participate in testing and commissioning support of engines and products including providing a structured report to stakeholders.Preparation and updating product documentation (commissioning instructions, engine manuals, training materials)Collaborate with our multicultural teams across the worldOccasional Pickett support (phone, email)Works on continuous improvement of WiDE product as well as electrical and electronic (hard- and software) products and new technologyRequirements:BSc Automation or Electrical or Mechanical or Marine EngineeringExperience for 2-stroke engine service & operation including automation system & electronicsPreferably experience on vessels in service, main engine operation and maintenance & auxiliaryequipment.2-Stroke Diesel Engine Knowledge (esp. automation, control and electrical for engines)Understanding design process and Design Standard (E&A)Has technical communication and interated soulutions knowledgeAble to work self-driven and self-critical with the target of continuous improvement.Has a clear understanding of the key success factors in our business and job responsibility.Experience of Product Data Management SystemsExcellence English language, written and spokenCustomer orientedAbility to work under pressurePro-active and self-driven way of workingOur offer:An opportunity to shape the sustainability and environmental impact of the shipping industry.
