Overview
We are currently supporting a global life sciences organisation in the search for a Junior HR Business Partner to join their on-site HR team in Visp on a contract basis.
This role sits within the local HR Business Partnering team and focuses on providing hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle, working closely with line managers and the wider HR network.
* End date: December 2026 (with strong possibility of extension)
* English and German required!
Key responsibilities
* Act as first point of contact for managers on day-to-day people topics including performance management, employee relations and organisational changes
* Provide HR Business Partnering support and guidance across the full employee lifecycle
* Support and roll out HR processes such as performance management, talent management, employee engagement initiatives and workforce planning
* Coordinate HR administrative processes in collaboration with HR Services and act as process champion at site level
* Contribute to or lead local HR projects (e.g. recruitment, talent, performance or total rewards topics)
* Track, analyse and report HR KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives
* Coach and support line managers through change management and organisational development activities
Key requirements
* 2–3 years of experience in HR, ideally in an HR Business Partner or similar generalist role
* Strong hands-on and operational mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrix environment
* Basic knowledge of Swiss labour law and experience supporting disciplinary measures
* Understanding of recruitment, HR processes and total rewards principles
* Affinity for HR systems, reporting tools and data-driven decision making
* Fluent in English and German
* Willing and able to work on-site in Visp at least 4 days per week
* BSc or MSc in HR, Psychology, Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred
