About
At Algrano, a Swiss tech-focused coffee startup, we are on a mission to reshape the global coffee trade. We are driven by an ambitious goal: to revolutionize an age-old industry by making it transparent, digital, and fair.
Through our online marketplace, coffee farmers can directly promote and sell their coffees to roasters across Europe and North America. Algrano provides both the digital marketplace and the physical offline infrastructure—including logistics, insurance, and financing—to make direct trade seamless.
By directly connecting the two ends of the supply chain, Algrano creates profound social and environmental impact. Our scalability and success are well-recognized: we currently serve over 1,000 sellers and roasters in more than 50 countries, won the Specialty Coffee Association’s Best Product and Innovation awards (2015 & 2022), ranked among the top 3 companies for the Green Business Award in 2025, and hold the Swiss Economic Forum High Potential Growth label.
