Project Manager Secondary Engineering 80 – 100% (f/m/d)
We are seeking a Project Manager for Secondary Engineering to join our team. In this role, you will oversee secondary engineering projects (LCC local control cabinets) from handover from sales through installation, including engineering and production in collaboration with primary engineering, under the leadership of the Commercial Project Manager of the GIS Project.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage secondary engineering projects from sales handover, including scope, schedule, and budget management.
2. Coordinate with the Commercial Project Manager on project timelines, scope, and costs.
3. Lead engineering activities, including base and detail design work.
4. Identify deviations and claims, communicate with customers, and conduct customer meetings.
5. Secure design freeze and customer approval, prepare production documents, and support manufacturing processes.
6. Conduct final acceptance tests, assist with site installation and commissioning, and prepare as-built documentation.
7. Participate in project reporting and digital project board activities.
8. Support sales, tender processes, and production activities.
9. Contribute to development projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Experience in secondary project engineering and project management.
* Financial and technical competence aligned with internal guidelines.
* Fluent in English; German and other languages are advantageous.
* Experience with Zuken E3 or similar tools is a plus.
* Independent, well-structured, and proactive work style.
* Knowledge of standards such as ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ability to ensure compliance.
