About Corintis: Corintis develops advanced microfluidic cooling solutions for AI chips, GPUs, and CPUs to reduce data center power consumption. Our software platform, Glacierware, customizes cooling channels to each chip’s power map, enabling efficient and sustainable cooling. We are based on the EPFL campus near Lausanne, Switzerland, and our team includes over 20 nationalities. The Role: We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the precision mechanical design and integration of our liquid-cooled systems for high-performance computing (HPC) and AI applications. You’ll lead the development from concept to production, with a strong focus on mechanical integrity, manufacturability, and robust design principles. Key Responsibilities: Lead the mechanical design of assemblies, fixtures, and cold plates, using Finite Elements Analysis (FEA) and applying Design for Excellence (DFX) principles.. Perform detailed tolerance analysis (GD&T) and complete robust Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA). Create production-ready CAD models and technical drawings using SolidWorks, ensuring effective revision control with PDM. Manage prototyping and production with high-quality standards, ensuring designs are manufacturable and cost-effective. Develop and validate mechanical reliability tests, including integration and structural integrity assessments. Analyze experimental data to improve mechanical robustness and production yield. Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to optimize assembly and fabrication processes. Contribute to R&D and innovation in precision mechanical integration and advanced assembly techniques. Requirements: MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related precision engineering field. Minimum 5+ years of industry experience in high-precision mechanical design
