The Country Quality and Food Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing quality management and food safety, ensuring the execution of the QFS step change plan with a focus on plant operations and the entire Country Organization. The QFS Manager implements legally mandated food safety systems for locally produced and traded products and services.
Set QFS targets at the Plant/Country level
Execute the CtQMM Program and B2B requirements across all ICSC areas
Escalate plant process-related QFS issues and monitor QFS trends and alerts
Address supplier-related QFS issues and trends
Make final decisions on QFS issues and risk mitigation strategies
Prepare and approve QFS procedures and sampling plans
Communicate with authorities and represent Plant/Country operations formally
Ensure compliance with QFS standards
Translate and align KORE, Group, and QFS legal requirements at Plant & ICSC levels
Define and implement QFS people development activities
Align quality requirements strategically between TCCC, CCHBC, and Country operations
Develop and execute annual business plans for QA Marketplace and other quality topics
Participate in Incident Management Teams and support plants during audits
Minimum qualifications include:
A completed master’s degree (University/FH) in Food Engineering
At least 7 years of relevant work experience
Additional education in business administration
Several years of experience in quality management and people management skills
Knowledge of Swiss and European food legislation
