About the Solar Impulse Foundation
The Solar Impulse Foundation is a public-interest, non-profit organisation. Through its Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label, the Foundation has identified and assessed more than 1,600 clean innovations (technologies, products, and services) that provide both environmental and economic benefits. These solutions come from startups and corporations across sectors, including Agrifood & Natural environment, Buildings & Constructions, Industrial processes & Consumer Goods, Mobility, and Utilities (Water, Energy, Waste). Our mission goes far beyond identifying clean and profitable solutions. We work to scale their adoption by activating a broad ecosystem of change-makers, public institutions, corporates, investors, and cities.
We do this by:
* Advocating for Efficiency
: Promoting energy efficiency and encouraging governments and institutions to make it a core pillar of public policy.
- Mobilising Finance
: Attracting and directing capital toward clean, low-carbon innovations.
- Accelerating Market Access
: Connecting innovators with economic and public stakeholders to facilitate large-scale deployment of sustainable solutions.
- Raising Awareness
: Informing the public, media, and decision-makers about the importance of energy efficiency and the solutions that already exist today.
