We are looking for an Asset Power Automation Engineer to join one of our projects.
Responsibilities Provide specialised technical support for the development and maintenance of offshore fleet vessels and equipment in Power, Automation, and Dynamic Positioning systems.
Support Operations, Commercial, and all Assets departments to identify technical needs for vessels/equipment Power and automation upgrades or new builds.
Develop feasibility studies and conceptual designs for vessel Power and automation upgrades or new builds to implement and verify Dynamic Positioning and related automation systems.
Provide technical support related to fleet development, modification, and improvement, including technical follow-up and management during design and construction phases.
Provide technical support to Pipelay/Flex equipment and QJ/DJ prefab plants related to electrical supply and control systems, ensuring follow-up of the scope of work and commissioning aspects.
Provide guidelines on standardization of hardware and software, including safety-related aspects, for control systems design.
Define execution plans to develop new capabilities and innovative solutions for new builds or equipment.
Optimize competencies and workload of the technical office.
Preserve know-how, technical experiences, and lessons learned after project completion.
Provide technical assistance in yards for upgrades or extraordinary maintenance execution.
What We Look For Languages: English language skills required (and any other specified by Project).
What We Can Offer 12 months contract (renewable) with a 35/35 rotation based on 12 hours a day / 84 hours per week (12x7).
