Responsibilities
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
Evaluate and measure the company's profit and loss ratio
Analyze budgets and create expense reports
Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
Maintain and update accounting records and files
Develop and maintain financial databases
Assist in the preparation of financial audits and coordinate the audit process
Profile
Higher education degree in accounting or equivalent
Several years of experience in accounting
Knowledge of accounting, business and financial principles and methodologies (e.g. GAAP)
Knowledge of related computer applications (e.g. MS AX, MS Excel)
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
Independent, accurate and responsible approach to work
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Team player and strong communication skills
Fluent in English (spoken and written), good knowledge of German and/or French
