Interesting tasks:
Bär & Karrer's Banking team advises domestic and foreign banks, asset managers, fund companies and other financial service providers as well as FinTech companies. As a member of the Banking team, you will solve a wide range of issues, with a focus on financing transactions, as well as financial market law, contract law, corporate law and commercial law topics.
The Corporate M&A team in Geneva focuses on domestic and international M&A transactions in a wide range of industries. It covers a broad spectrum of corporate transactions, including acquisitions, mergers, private equity investments, venture capital, joint ventures and restructurings, for both Swiss and international clients. As a member of the M&A team, you will be involved in interesting and challenging projects, work in close contact with clients, cooperating with various specialists of B&K (tax law, IP/IT, labor law, anti-trust, litigation, etc.) and colleagues abroad and deal with representatives of the relevant authorities.
Your profile:
1. A law master's degree with very good grades and a Swiss bar exam;
2. Ideally a further graduation, such as a in French and English, both drafting and oral communication, solid, at least passive, command of German;
3. A strong interest for the economic perspective of legal questions;
4. Persistence, self-confidence, healthy ambition and the tenacity to successfully conclude challenging projects;
5. Team player, solution-oriented approach, curiosity and the desire to support other teams.
