OmniOn Power is seeking a Business Development Manager as part of our expansion plans for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region. The successful candidate will define and drive strategic initiatives, influencing the company's growth trajectory. Reporting to the EMEA Sales Leader, this role is based in Baden, Switzerland.
About the Role
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Identifying and developing new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, customer segments, partnerships, and innovative approaches to existing markets.
* Monitoring market trends, emerging technologies, and solutions relevant to the focus segments and sub-segments.
* Connecting potential suppliers, customers, and channel partners to develop solutions, products, and partnerships.
* Preparing detailed growth strategies and leading internal and external teams to execute them.
* Representing the company at trade shows and industry events.
* Collaborating with product management, segment management, and R&D to define future product and solution needs.
* Working closely with commercial and FAE teams to understand customer needs and define growth strategies.
Focus segments include:
* Datacenter – AI Servers and others
* 5G Telecom
* Large Data Center Systems for Telecom and other industries
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
* At least 10 years of work experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a commercial role.
* Effective communication skills in English.
* Ability to travel within the region approximately 70% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Fluency in German, French, Italian, or Spanish.
* Self-driven, motivated, and creative.
* Curious about learning new technologies.
* Collaborative team player.
