RFP Project Manager 50% – Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Tool
Project: Our client in the energy sector is looking for a skilled and structured Project Manager to lead the selection of a Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) solution. This is a part-time contract (50%, initially 3-6 months). The project scope is international and the role involves managing the full evaluation process, including stakeholder engagement, requirement gathering, documentation, and leading a formal RFP.
Tasks:
1. Plan and manage the full lifecycle for TPRM tool selection
2. Lead structured workshops with Compliance, Procurement, Credit Risk, Legal and IT Security
3. Consolidate and document business requirements into a clear SoW
4. Identify and assess relevant data source providers
5. Manage end-to-end RFPs for both TPRM tools and data providers
6. Coordinate vendor Q&A sessions, demos and scoring workshops
7. Ensure alignment with compliance (due diligence, ESG), procurement (SAP Ariba), credit risk (exposure tracking), and InfoSec (NIS2) requirements
8. Provide regular status updates and manage risks and dependencies
9. Deliver a final recommendation report and executive briefing deck
Required Skills & Experience:
10. 5+ years of experience in project or programme management, ideally in tool/vendor selection
11. Strong knowledge of RFP processes and Statement of Work creation
12. Familiarity with Third Party Risk Management or related compliance and procurement topics
13. Able to coordinate across multiple departments and drive structured delivery
14. Confident managing projects independently on a part-time basis
15. Excellent documentation and communication skills
16. Fluent English and minimum B2-level German
