Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
The Registered Behavior Technician will work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to identify behaviors that interfere with the learning process and implement behavior support plans for students that require consistent and significant behavioral support during the school day. This position will work under the direct guidance and oversight of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and at the direction of the principal and special education supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Works collaboratively with building staff to promote positive student behavior by providing professional development that targets research, strategies and modeling of instructional practices to support staff in their implementation of positive support and PBIS.
* Demonstrate expertise in the area of data collection and behavioral analysis.
* Assists with behavioral assessments.
* Supports BCBA to provide training in the use of data collection, positive behavior supports, intervention techniques and instructional methodologies for staff.
* Observes, records, and implements positive behavior support plans.
* Participates in parent-teacher conferences (when appropriate), IEP meetings, student team meetings, and building team meetings.
* Develop materials and provide resources for student interventions.
* Assists the teacher in informal behavior plans (i.e. strategies for reinforcing materials or skills based on an understanding of individual students, their needs, interests, and abilities.)
* Adheres to expected timelines for data collection, paperwork, etc.
* Participates as a member of the Crisis Response Team.
Compensation and Benefits
Unrepresented employee group; 184 days; 7.5 hours per day
Minimum starting rate $30/hour, negotiable based on qualifications and experience
