Ecolab is look for a Mechanical Engineering Intern.
The main goal of this internship is to extend an existing water purification product into a complete range of sizes. The student will be responsible for adapting the current design to different diameters and producing all associated technical drawings and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze the existing product design and identify critical dimensions and features.
* Develop new variants of the product for different diameters while maintaining functional integrity and compliance with standards.
* Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for manufacturing.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to validate designs and ensure feasibility.
* Prepare documentation for the updated product range.
* Consult suppliers and update bill of materials.
Required Skills:
* Solid knowledge of mechanical design principles.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar).
* Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
* Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* English, German or French is an added value.
