The incumbent is a key member of the marketing team, and drives the planning and execution of all brand activities on Aperol (the largest Spirits brand in Switzerland) and other existing Italian Icons brands, plus new product launch when applicable.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
The Brand Manager will deal with the following main activities:
o Definition and implementation of brands strategies, according to global guidelines. Responsible for assigned brand plans & portfolio development
o Drive new product launch in the market, when applicable
o Full responsibility of assigned brands including development and implementation of marketing strategy and marketing plans – 360-degree activation and BTL
o Lead of brand marketing activities (initiation, coordination, execution, controlling) and support of trade marketing activities
o Support of sales strategies in close collaboration with Head of Sales, Key Account Management and Sales Force
o Planning in coordination with the digital and event manager, digital campaigns, sponsorships, promotions and events
o Sourcing of marketing/communication/POS material
o Analysis and recommendation of market dynamics (consumers, segments, volumes, competitors’ trends) and the application of the findings to the Brand Plans
o Sales and channel analysis (BI, Nielsen), contributing to the sales forecasting activities
o Planning and execution of market and consumer studies
o Initiate marketing activities to meet volume targets and optimize brand activities in terms of costs and profits
o Brand and brand projects budgets (planning, analyzing, controlling) ensuring cost efficiency and effectiveness
o Management of agencies and partners
Education/Professional Qualifications
o University Degree in Marketing and/or Communication
o Post-degree specialization is a plus
o Languages: Proficiency in German, fluency in English, a third language is a plus
o Solid background and professional experience as marketeer
Key competences and traits
o 5-year experience in brand management
o Previous experience in Digital&Communication and Customer Marketing is a plus
o Knowledge on the beverage or FMCG industry
o Knowledge of Campari Group products
