manages professional/technical and support staff on both a professional and administrative basis. /li liManaging the project during the preparation phase of a project and on-site, leads the project. /li liCreative Design – follow up on contents creation design, storytelling, content creation, the flow and the creative technical production. /li liDay to Day project management including all the MCI operational tools properly (TimeTracking, Success Factor, Health Safety tools "ESST", etc.) /li liBuilding, maintaining and continual development of relationships with suppliers, negotiating best prices and deals, setting up credit agreements, raising purchase orders, attending supplier visits to MCI where appropriate. /li liRegular reporting on project operational progress to the client /li liResponsible for the logistics part (retroplanning, timeline, operational planning, quality, budget, resources) /li liProvide support on Corporate offer with the Account Manager/Account Director if possible to be part of the project from the beginning. /li liCross selling (MCI, Ovation, Dorier, etc.) /li liParticipating in event debriefings, gather client feedback and market intelligence /li liReporting to the Director Events or Account Manager/Account Director regarding project and event objectives, budgets, resource planning /li liManaging confirmed projects from A to Z /li liHands-on management of projects attributed to them, including planning, budgeting, quality of work, client relationship, etc. /li /ul h3Financial Management /h3 ul liProper reconciliation (operational, financial) of all projects handled by their event / project teams /li liManage cash flow, payment terms, cancellation, added value and savings /li liEnsuring the profitability of the events and projects organized, managing and verifying all income and expenditure /li /ul h3Administration and IT /h3 ul liArticulate the business case and added value of MCI-owned tools and systems to external stakeholders /li liAssess and match relevant information systems to better meet stakeholders needs /li liProvide hands-on training to technology tools users, such as TimeTracking, Success Factor, MS Office /li liRecommend adjustment changes to systems, forms, documents, procedures, policies, etc. that will increase effectiveness of the project(s) /li liUse MCI systems (e.g. TimeTracking, SAP…) at super-user level capability /li /ul h3Your profil /h3 ul liA minimum of 8 years’ experience in the meetings industry demonstrating consistent progression in roles and responsibilities /li liFluency in French and English, additional languages strongly desired (German; Italian) /li liExperience in planning, developing and delivering events and communication programs in the private sector in an international environment /li liA proven track record of managing and motivating teams and delivering small- and large-scale projects in a service environment /li liTravelling on-site inspections and accompanying events as required /li liIn possession of a driving license /li liLeadership skills /li liGood written and verbal communication /li liAbility to make decisions and to prioritize tasks, and to remain calm under stress /li liProblem solving skills /li liAbility to work both autonomously and as part of a team /li liExperience with management and operating of budgets / financial control /li liProfessional education in Event Management, Hotel Management, Tourism or another relevant domain /li liExcellent personal presentation /li liGood knowledge of computerized systems including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation packages and databases, preferably Word, Excel Power Point. /li /ul pMCI is where you can bring your true self to work and be proud of what you do.
