Your Responsibilities
1. You ensure the availability of all special tools for combustion engines in the BU Combustion Enginer after Start of Production
2. You identify tool needs in collaboration with Development, Prototype Workshop, Production, Service, Documentation, and Training teams for Liebherr in Bulle and Colmar
3. You cooperate with development partners to define special tools
4. You design special tools for customers and field service technicians
5. You coordinate with suppliers, supplier management, and strategic purchasing
6. You create and maintain item numbers, drawings, and 3D data in Windchill
7. You test and approve new tools
8. You contribute to pricing and marketing strategies, and conduct benchmarking to evaluate tools and processes
9. You identify design improvements and feed them back into development
10. You support editors with proofreading and reviewing service documentation, especially repair manuals
11. You assist with the translation of technical documentation
12. You record standard times for key operations and repairs
13. You support the Life Cycle Cost (LCC) team in coordination with Customer Service Management
Your Profile
14. You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Mechanical Engineering, Engine Technology or similar
15. You bring 3–5 years of professional experience, ideally as a design engineer
16. You have excellent knowledge of combustion engines
17. You are skilled in design engineering and technical drawings
18. You are proficient in mechanical, automotive, or engine technologies
19. You combine strong technical understanding with practical, hands-on experience
20. You are fluent in English and German
